Fred Jocelyn — macOS, iOS & Rust developer
I build software for Apple platforms, and have done for twenty years — from Carbon leftovers to Apple silicon. Most of what I write now has a Rust core with a Swift face on it: one tested engine, shared by the Mac app, the iOS app and the CLI.
What I do
- Build — Mac & iOS apps, start to ship.
- Core — Rust engines with a Swift API, via UniFFI.
- Rescue — Objective-C and Carbon-era codebases brought to Apple silicon.
- Advise — audits on performance, memory, concurrency and App Review rejections.
